4.8 from 3 reviews

A delicious fusion dish combining the fiery kick of Samyang carbo spicy noodles with a creamy, cheesy Korean-style corn cheese topping. Perfect for spice lovers looking for a comforting and indulgent meal.

Ingredients

Scale

Spicy Noodles

  • 2 packs Samyang Carbo Noodles or your preferred spicy instant noodles

Corn Cheese Topping

  • 1.5 cups frozen or canned corn, drained
  • 1 cup grated white cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Japanese mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles: Prepare the instant noodles according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and transfer the noodles to a serving plate.
  2. Prepare the corn cheese: In a pan over high heat, combine the corn, grated white cheddar, grated mozzarella, Japanese mayonnaise, and sugar. Wait for a sizzling sound, then reduce the heat to medium.
  3. Melt the cheese mixture: Stir occasionally to ensure the cheese melts evenly. Continue cooking until the cheese is fully melted and the mixture is bubbly and creamy. Once melted, turn off the heat and allow the mixture to rest for 2 to 3 minutes to thicken slightly.
  4. Assemble the dish: Pour the warm corn cheese mixture over the hot noodles. Optionally, garnish with dried parsley for a pop of color and fresh flavor. Serve immediately and enjoy this creamy, spicy delicacy!

Notes

  • You can substitute white cheddar with any mild cheddar or another melting cheese if unavailable.
  • Japanese mayonnaise adds a unique creaminess and slight sweetness; regular mayonnaise can also be used as a substitute.
  • Dried parsley garnish is optional but adds visual appeal and a hint of herbal freshness.
  • For less spice, consider using less spicy instant noodles or add more cheese to balance the heat.
