Instructions

  1. Prep the glasses: Clean and set aside the glasses where you will layer the smoothies to have them ready when the smoothies are made.
  2. Prep the bowls: Prepare 7 separate bowls, one for each smoothie color, and set them aside for easy and organized blending.
  3. Make the smoothies: Blend the ingredients for each colorful layer one at a time until smooth. Adjust the liquid amount if the consistency is too thick to ensure easy layering.
  4. Chill: Transfer each smoothie to its corresponding bowl and refrigerate. Rinse the blender between each smoothie preparation to keep colors vivid and separate.
  5. Layer: Gently pour equal amounts of each smoothie color from the bowls into the prepared glasses. Pour slowly to keep the layers distinct and create a rainbow effect.
  6. Serve: Serve the layered rainbow smoothies immediately to enjoy the fresh flavors and vibrant colors at their best.

Notes

  • Use frozen fruits to achieve a thick and creamy smoothie texture without needing ice.
  • You can substitute beet slices with pineapple and a few drops of food coloring if preferred.
  • Adjust the amount of liquid (water, juice) depending on your desired smoothie thickness.
  • Rinsing the blender between colors prevents mixing and helps keep the layers vibrant.
  • Layers should be poured gently to keep them distinct; you can use a spoon to help with gentle pouring.
  • Store any leftover smoothies in the fridge but consume within 24 hours for optimal freshness.
