Instructions

  1. Prepare Chicken: Slice each chicken breast in half lengthwise to create four thin cutlets. Season both sides with salt and pepper, then dredge the chicken pieces in flour, shaking off any excess to ensure an even coating.
  2. Heat Pan and Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken cutlets and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
  3. Sauté Mushrooms: Add butter to the same skillet and let it melt. Add sliced mushrooms and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.   5. Add Cream and Combine: Pour in the heavy cream and return the cooked chicken and mushrooms to the pan. Let everything cook together for another 5 minutes, allowing the chicken to finish cooking and the sauce to thicken slightly. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
