  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp Fresh dill (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • Lemon slices (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (204 degrees C) to ensure it reaches the right temperature for perfect salmon baking.
  2. Prepare Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped dill, and chopped parsley until well combined.
  3. Arrange Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on a baking dish or baking sheet with space between each. Pat the fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture, helping the marinade adhere better.
  4. Apply Marinade and Season: Brush both sides of each salmon fillet with the olive oil and herb mixture. Sprinkle sea salt and black pepper evenly on both sides. Optionally, place a thin lemon slice on top of each fillet for added flavor and presentation.
  5. Bake Salmon: Bake salmon in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes. Cook until the internal temperature reaches your desired doneness: 120-125°F (48-52°C) for medium rare, 130°F (54°C) for medium, 135°F (57°C) for medium well, or 140-145°F (60-63°C) for well done. For perfectly moist, flaky salmon, 135-140°F is recommended.
